Le manuscrit illustré du Roman de Jaufre (Paris, Bnf, fr. 2164)
La Thèse doctorale est consacrée au manuscrit illustré du Roman de Jaufre de la Bibliothèque National de France (Paris, Bnf, ms. 2164). La Thèse a l'objectif de comprendre pas seulement le contexte de production de ce manuscrit - qui reste plus presque inconnu à la critique -, mais aussi de souligner un méthode scientifique et interdisciplinaire d'étude du manuscrit illustré médiévale et de essayer de développer tous les aspects connexes au manuscrit, pas seulement liés à la culture artistique, mais aussi des thèmes de politique, sociale, et plus en général culturels. Au début on trouve le thème du récit, le contexte d'origine du roman dedié au Roi d'Aragon et le seul roman arthuriénne en langue occitane, et les aspects philologiques; l'étude se développe après sur la tradition illustrative du Jaufre et sur le manuscrit fr. 2164, en particulier sur les aspects codicologiques. Très interessante sont le découverte dans le Palais de l'Aljaferia de Saragosse des peintures murale à thème chevaleresque que on peut mettre en relation avec le roman de Jaufre. La thèse est enrichi d'une Appendice avec tous les illustrations du manuscrits et une analyse du rapport texte-image.

The illustrated manuscript of the Roman de Jaufre (Paris, Bnf, fr. 2164)
The PhD thesis is about the illustrated manuscript of the Roman de Jaufre of the Bibliothèque National de France (Paris, Bnf, ms 2164). almost unknown to the critics - but also to emphasize a scientific and interdisciplinary method of studying the illustrated medieval manuscript and to try to develop all aspects related to the manuscript, not only related to artistic culture, but also themes of politics, social context, and more generally in the cultural field. In the beginning we find the theme of the narrative, the original context of the novel dedicated to the King of Aragon and the only Arthurian novel in the Occitan language, and the philological aspects; on the illustrative tradition of the Jaufre and on the manuscript fr 2164, in particular on the codicological aspects Very interesting are the discovery in the Palace of the Aljaferia of Saragossa mural paintings with chivalrous theme that can be put in relation with the novel of Jaufre. The thesis is enriched with an Appendix with all the illustrations of the manuscripts and an analysis of the ratio text-image.

Il manoscritto illustrato del Roman de Jaufre (Paris, Bnf, fr. 2164)
La tesi di dottorato è dedicata al manoscritto illustrato del Roman de Jaufre della Bibliothèque Nationale de France (Parigi, Bnf, ms. fr 2164). La tesi cerca a comprendere non solo il contesto a produzione di questo manoscritto - che rimane pressoché sconosciuto alla critica -, ma anche a sottolineare un metodo di studio scientifico e interdisciplinare del manoscritto illustrato medievale e a cercare di sviluppare tutti gli aspetti legati al manoscritto, non solo legati alla cultura artistica, ma anche a temi politici, sociali e più in generale culturali. All'inizio troviamo il tema del racconto, il contesto originario del romanzo dedicato al re d'Aragona e unico romanzo arturiano in lingua occitana, e gli aspetti filologici; lo studio sviluppa poi la tradizione illustrativa del Jaufre e sul manoscritto fr. 2164, in particolare gli aspetti codicologici. Di particolare interesse è la scoperta nel Palazzo Aljaferia di Saragozza di pitture murali a tema cavalleresco che possono essere messe in relazione con il romanzo di Jaufre. La tesi è arricchita da un'appendice con tutte le illustrazioni dei manoscritti e un'analisi del rapporto testo-immagine.
